Well Gullly you wanted an answer for what to do with Spam.

The common thing for Filipino people is to use the product a protein source for garlic rice. The suggestion is to cook the spam on low to render out the fat, remove spam set to the side, then smash garlic cloves (3 is a good amount) and fry until golden brown, then add rice and the cooked spam. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with eggs and a Milo.

Another thing you can do with spam is make budae jjigae which is Korean Army Stew. Now you will need to use hot dogs, spam, and other ingredients but since I know you practice Islam then I would say use the luncheon meat and beef franks. Most of the ingredients in budae jjigae is Halal but the meats tend not to be unless you get the stuff you are permitted to eat.

I hope this helps.

Hey Gully! The key is used to open the can. There is a small slit in the key, which you have to insert into the metal tab on the side of the can (if you don't see it, try peeling back the paper) and begin twisting around the can.

My brother in God that key thing is supposed to latch onto that small metal piece sticking out near the same side of the can, you just keep twisting until you've fully went around the can and the entire things pops off.

And if you want to try the best brand of this product, try finding a Danish brand called *Robert, * especially the Spicy one. And yes it's also Halal, sold all over Saudi Arabia and I'm sure a bunch of other places, the can is Green and White, with the word Robert in a Red circle, and it tastes specifically different from the rest because it's probably the only one that doesn't have Starch in the ingredients. You can fry it but honestly it's amazing as is, with Cheese spread like Puck or Kraft, dip it in the yolk of a fried egg, you can do a lot of things with it.

It's so good I used to take a few cans with me in my luggage when I leave Saudi Arabia, they have small square ones like the one you showed in the video, but also large 850 gram tubes.

The key is supposed to open the can, there should be a tab on the side of the can somewhere. After you open it you can cut it up into small peices to put in eggs or just cook it in a pan for just a short easy lunch

that key is a literal key, there's a small metal sheet in the side that you put in the hole of the key and turn it counter clockwise

FYI what you said about the word luncheon is actually correct! Lunch is actually just the shortened version of the word luncheon, thus people tend to use the whole word luncheon for more formal events is all.

cut it into layers and cook it in a pan, then eat with fried rice

Put the key on the metal flap located on the side of the can, then twist

i grew up on this. you use the key as an opener if you look on the side of the can you can find a piece that sticks out and you basically insert it in the slot in the key and roll it around the can to open it, its like a thread. try with pita bread and tomatoes. never cooked it. delicious. maybe a little mayo too

The key is to open the can there is a lip bit under the wrapping, that goes in the slit of the key and you would use this for sandwiches or rolls or cut up use in salad, there are heaps of ways.

Lunchon is some sort of processed meat that is common in Arabic countries but it's more of slices rather than a single block of meat. We eat it for breakfast and most people enjoy eating it with cheese

Luncheon meat is essentially sandwiching meat, there are many ways to eat it the most popular by far is to make musubi with it or to eat it with rice but the og way of eating it was making a sandwich with it, it's essentially canned ham

So it’s basically finely ground chicken and beef, mixed with a bit of fat and seasonings to create a luncheon meat loaf. It’s normally cooked by baking or boiling, so the stuff you get out of the can is perfectly safe to eat, though most people think it’s better when fried up.

The key, how to use it:
You'll find a metal extension that maybe or maybe not protruding that fits in the slit at the end of the key, you then place the extension into the key hole and spin it around. It should peel in some sort of way that allows you to open the can.

To answer your question about the key, there is a tag on the side of the can. You basically send the tag through the small space in the key and keep folding until the top of the can is severed. Then you empty the contents, cook, and enjoy

The key helps you open the can. If you look close towards the top there’s a little tag of metal. Insert that into the slot in the key and twist it. The metal strip comes off the can (like opening an envelop) and you can pop the top off. Still doesn’t make it easy to get the spam out though… my kids like fried spam and spam tacos 😳😬
