Are you having an issue with your Spotify app because it stops running in background when you minimize it? Luckily, you can easily fix this issue.

Just follow these steps and you will learn how to do it:

1. I am currently using phone that is running on Android, but iPhone users should be able to find these settings too. Go to your phone “Settings”.
2. Find the “Apps” section and open it up.
3. Tap on “Apps” at the top.
4. Use search at the top of your screen and find “Spotify” app.
5. Click on “Data usage”.
6. Scroll down and switch the toggle on next to “Background data” if it was turned off. This should help you to fix Spotify background problem.
7. If background data switch was already turned on, then my recommendation would be to delete your Spotify app and download it one more time again.
