Yes this fixes the issue but, how come the issue only started occurring now? I've had my Spotify connected for well over a year and it only started pausing my music recently... I'd like to know if there is a fix for this issue without disconnecting my Spotify because I like having it accessible on my Discord profile, I think there might have been a fix because I've had this issue before and resolved it but I'm not quite sure...

Edit: I was able to fix the issue by going into my voice and video settings, scrolling to the bottom and clicking reset voice settings, not sure which setting was preventing my music from playing but this worked!

Thank you so much dude, this issue just started appearing and my discord was showing that it paused my spotify but I thought nothing of it till spotify started pausing on my phone too, and absolutely nothing on google helps, you’re a genuine lifesaver thank you so much

NO WAY THIS PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY DISCORD. im genuinely so mad. ive been dealing with this problem for about two months now and this is the only thing ive found that fixed it 😭 thank you so so much but im so confused as to why the random pausing was discords fault

im so cooked i have done literally everything (removing connections, input sens, deleting and installing it on every device, clearing cache, force shutting spotify and discord and restarting, even got prem from a free trial.) and NOTHING has worked

When running the mic button to read they lyrics I was trying to practice singing the lyrics karaoke style, but your solution worked even though I thought this was an environmental equalizer issue.
