I am new to the channel but glad I have stopped by. Great information you shared as you don't get in many other channels. A word of caution on valuation. First this is not exact science, it is more educated guesswork. Second, research by, I think JPM, found that fundamentals explain less than 10% of a stock’s performance over one year period, 40% over 5 years and close to 90% over 10. In short we can’t draw any conclusion based on the (altough funny to follow) performance of XOM vs MSFT in the suggested timeframe.

Hey Mike - thanks for the video and emails - appreciate you sharing. Question on AQN and/or regular stock vs Preferred A/B/C etc. I'm not that familiar w the pros & cons of each offering and in the case of AQN they have the "regular" stock offering ( AQN.TO ), Preferred A ( AQN-A) and Preferred D ( AQN-D ). My understanding is the preferred are usually a little more but can't remember what the advantage of a preferred stock was. Any thoughts - Appreciate the input !
