I know a little bit about this one! This is what I learned over the years. I got this when I was younger. Wash with Selsun Blue, that's selenium. Head and Shoulders is pyrithrione zinc, as body wash and let it sit. I usually start with Selenium and then once it's broken up a bit, I'll go to head and Shoulders bc it's not as drying. The green apple one smells awesome. You can use that but You can use monistat cream or athletes foot cream after the shower to kill it off further. It happens to mostly darker skin tones, medium tones to olives. It can be mistaken for excema bc it can be dry and patchy. If you're curious, go in the sun. The patches don't tan and will stand out. Because it's technically a fungus, you'll see it in a lot of athletes like swimmers (yep that was me 😊) & weight lifters. It Is transferable so it's important to get it treated. It can also be itchy at times, especially if you're outside a lot. Try not to scratch, stop and apply the cream. A lot of people have it, it's common AF. Another tell tale sign it's Tinea Versicolor is like the doctor said, it's found on the back, shoulders, and chest. It doesn't usually go past those areas. Taking steroids increases the chances of it needing more aggressive prescription treatments. You'll see it all the time now that you know! I have one question though. I remember hearing that sun was good for it and I have also heard the sun can make it worse so I was wondering if moderate sun exposure is helpful or harmful? Thanks so much! Great video!❤

I can't swim in sea water or my skin looks like the upper left photo. Sea water also tears my face up. It feels like it's eaten my skin. So, yeah, no ocean for me 😏
