The Lake District is stunning. There's a saying "If you can see the lake, it's going to rain; if you can't, it's raining!"

I'm going to be a Grumpy Grannie here but when you ask for things I do wish you would say please and thank you. I've been to
the States lots of time and did notice that when I said please and thank you for things it was obvious that American servers don't hear it very often from locals.

Hi Joel, Did you see William Wordsworth`s grave in Grassmere? You were right next to it in that church. Its no supprise it was raining in the Lake District, it`s the rainiest part of the UK.

The Lake District is one of my most favourite places in the whole world. Truly beautiful.

Incredibly well planned trip, so glad you’ve seen the Cotswolds and Lake District, even the British forget what we have here sometimes!

I gotta say how much I love watching young Americans who are not loud and obnoxious while abroad. I’m an American and it’s so embarrassing when I travel abroad and hear my compatriots like 20 decibels too high, giving that stereotype more credence.

Joel, you could make a whole career making travel programmes. You are such a natural communicator, and your reactions to the sights you see and the people you meet are an absolute joy to watch. Thank you so much for sharing you experiences with us.

Really sweet your cousin Wendy and Colin picked you up and took you around. They seem like quality people!

I really enjoyed that. Cousin Wendy seems like a fun person. These vlogs are inspiring me to explore more of England outside of my "London bubble" ...

Actually impressed by how much you're packing into this visit. I hope it hadn't gone too fast for you guys, and you've managed to make some great memories from it.

Oh Joel, you really are 'packing it all in'. What an excellent first visit to the UK you're having... and as a bonus, a first time meeting with a cousin. Can't wait to carry on watching your UK adventures.
