Lanyard Knot How to Tie a Multi Strand Lanyard Knot with Crown Knot Finish Decorative Lanyard Knot.

In this video I will demonstrate on how to tie a multi strand Lanyard Knot which has been finished with a crown knot and the ends tucked down.

I have previously made a soft shackle or Jib Shackle using this technique. I have centred a 3 strand rope, so that I have six ends together to form the decorative lanyard knot.

Based on different video, I wanted to create a soft shackle to use as a training hobble for horses. This combination of a soft shackle with the crown and Lanyard knot was a great solution. Really enjoy all the Debt videos because of the clarity of the instruction and the great visuals. As a newbie, I'm able to follow along and stop the video, compare my progress to the still, and analyze what I'm doing right/wrong. (Love the Big Ben in the background!)

lol i use soft shackles all the time in the woods to set up traps i use the shackle in a prusik to adjust the tarp where i want it i use the Celtic Shackle.

On the completed one you start the video with you've managed to hide the ends, yet you don't show how to do it with the big red rope. Please, please, please do so.

Top man! Looks lie your soft shackle is using 1/4" cordage. Could you do a run through of that project?

This guy tells us about six times what he is going to do before he eventually starts to get on with it. Start at 2.56 where he starts, sort of, to tell us how he is going to go about it. Deeply frustrating.
