I have tied this 3 times and each time the loops slip. Is this the intention?

Do the two loops communicate? In other words, does the cord slide through the cobra knot so that the size of the loops can adjust?

If you make it as long as your forearm and use a proper sturdy key ring, you can use this just like nunchucks and basically smash someone's face with your keys.
