Can Betta Live in Community Tank?

This video is of my community tank with betta fish. All of the fish live in harmony in this tank. Along with Betta fish, I have other tropical fish such as neon tetra, sword tail, guppies, endlers, Clown loaches, red cherry shrimps, platy fish.

I have figured (from research and experience) that it depends on the personality of the betta fish. Luckily my first half moon red betta (male) got along with 8 of my orange tuxedo guppies. I added them all together at once.

Pro tip: either add all the fish together or introduce the betta at the very last to the tank.

Indeed a betta can fit in a community tank (depends on each fish character) but say good but to fry, shrimps (especially juveniles)

Yes they can depending on the betta. I had two in a community tank. Give them plenty of spaces to hide and they should be fine. Also depending on the bettas personality, the ones i had preferred solitude so they stayed on their side of the tank. To test if itll be compatible during the acclimation see how it reacts to fish around it

nice looking fish!!! I got my veiltail in a 37g with guppies. hes not aggressive at all towards the adult guppies because hes too busy chasing the fry around non stop😅

If you see the fins shredded they aren't getting along.

Did everyone survive still? I had one months ago and no matter what type of fish I added it will attack them and it was a decent size tank to and well taken care of

New to fish keeping so this might sound stupid

I currently have 2 female Bettas in what I believe is a 25 gallon tank. They have been together for 2 weeks and get along great. No nipping or fighting of any kind.

So my question is can I add community fish in with the 2 Bettas or will they not get along?

My betta is highly aggressive and very fast and strong. It lives all by itself in a 7.5 gallon tank. It attacks any moving thing that comes into it’s tank.

Would a 29 gallon with guppies be okay with one koi betta male?

I have red slider, 3 glo fish and 1 male moon betta everyone seem to be chilling i have big tank too so maybe that's why and before anyone say it my turtle never try to eat the fish he loves the company he's been with some kind of fish all his life he's friendly to others and humans had him since he was very very small .

I had one with my guppies tetras and 1plecos and it never made a move so I think it would be fine

A female Betta is more commu nity without harm to other fish.

I currently have two butterfly bettas in a tank with fish, snails, shrimp and shrimp fry and sometimes my heart stops when they stare at them for too long. Wonder if there will be a day that he strikes but I hope it never comes.

Yeah if you put betta last it won't hurt any fish.

My Betta seems fine but now two more guppies have some heavy fin nipping
