I once heard a black friend of mine say "There's no such thing as a gay black man, just brothers on the down low."

So not only can we not show love to our homies because we're afraid someone will call us gay, actual gay men have to run and hide and tiptoe around just to be with the person they love.

The irony is, those who are afraid 'to appear gay' are the most insecure and their front of 'being touch' is OBVIOUS they are scared (sometimes referred to as 'pussies'). I’ve buried 13 of my close friends to gun violence and drugs. I tell any of my 🥷s I love you and will hug the 💩out of any one of them. As long as you are secure with your sexuality it’s nothing to show genuine love for a person male or female because when they close their eyes for eternity you will wish you had a chance to show love while they were alive. 💯

my best friend's dad thought i was gay because i was hugging her constantly and just showing her how much i care about her because she's my best friend. my family thought i was weird for always hugging people i only see at school or just as a i just met them type thing. im just a very open person like being physical is my love language (as in general not just romantically) and i think it's really sad that we live in a world where we can't show others too much affection cuz they'll start making assumptions. and of course i always ask if it's okay to give others hugs or being physical in general because it's not everyone's cup of tea :)
