Traditionally laser hair removal is mildly to moderately painful and sometimes requires numbing cream which can be dangerous if applied to large surface areas. In this video I discuss the advanced technology of Alma's Soprano Ice Platinum system which houses three lasers in one hand piece; the ND YAG 1064 nm, the 810 nm diode and the 755 nm Alexandrite. This allows lower and safer energy settings to be used.
Laser hair removal is not the same as IPL hair removal and not as effective.
Laser hair removal can safely be performed on all skin types with the soprano Ice, provided the procedure is performed by an experienced and knowledgeble laser expert.
