from my understanding the phase shift of sine is half of the phase shift of cosine, so for this graph the phase shift of sine is pi/8. you can also find it by finding where the midline first intersects the graph

Mr. Mario, if the prompt asks for a sinusoidal wave, then I believe the answer should be in terms of sin instead of cos.
