Samsung's new phones also have new cameras, so we put the Galaxy S7 Edge up against the toughest competition around: the iPhone 6S Plus. A wider lens, brighter aperture, and better software appears to have given the S7 Edge a lead in the never-ending smartphone camera race.

The first samsung device to shoot 4K was the Note 3.
OMG! That's nearly 3 years ago! Get your sentence right
dude before saying it.

I see these guys at the Starbucks in soho all the time with all their apple gear, iPhone, iPad, and Mac laptops, It's good to see them acknowledge as hardcore iPhone users which phone has the superior camera without bias. nice video.

"Now Samsung, like the iPhone; both can now shoot 4K"

Dude, seriously? Do you even know you are saying it the other way around?

I hope the iPhone 7 brings its A game, cause Samsung is getting really better. Also am so glad that these two companies have to compete to win our affection, this is truly best for us consumers rather than being 'fanboys' of either of the factions.

It's clear they are trying to downplay the S7 every time they can but images speak for themselves.
Not only Samsung's jpg's pictures contain more information but also the S7 can shoot RAW.
How can you say that those pale iphone imagines look better?
I've never seen a decent photographer to say he likes pale images.
Take a look on 500px, most images are saturated and very crisp looking, you rarely see pales lifeless images.

As an iPhone user I really have to give it to the S7 for this coffee shot. Pretty amazing, other than that I don't see much of a difference.

I'm a total Android fanboy and a strict Apple hater. With that in head I've always admitted of how good their cameras are - and it's amazing and an achievement to see how the S7 is topping it. Kudos Samsung, kudos

it's amazing how a year or two can change everything. apples cam blew away any Android phone. now apple can't compete at all

Are they using live photo mode on the iPhone when shooting low light in the café?

that's somehow very misjudged...

I am neither samsung or apple fan but in this camera test, Galaxy S7 edge won unquestionably over the iphone 6S plus. The bald guy could hardly swallow that reality.
