Progressively Most Disturbing Moments of Elden Ring

Hey, I'm back, after losing essentially two full videos I needed to take a break, having so much work disappear can be really discouraging. Although it gave me some time to think about my content and where I want to go with it. SO AS OF NOW I'M GONNA MAKE EVERYTHING MUCH MORE FUN SCREW MICROMANAGING EVERY DETAIL OF THE VIDEO MAN THAT SUCKS. But anyways let's look at some of the most disturbing stuff in Elden Ring, hope you enjoy!

Don't forget that Seluvis keeps a perfect copy of Sellen's body right next to his bed... there's even an in-game message that says to not touch her because she's for his personal use only. Yikes.

Seluvis doesn't just leave them as lifeless puppets. It is heavily implied that he "uses" their bodies. Giden refers to him as a "dolly-botherer"

One of the creepier (and sadder) parts is how you can discover a mass grave of all the nomadic merchants underneath Leyndell right near where the Frenzied Flame is.


The reason all the Nomads are in isolated areas is because they don't want to be hunted like they were ages ago.

Thank god I saw a video to tell Boc he’s beautiful rather than giving him the tear. He’s literally the nicest character and that was such a sweet moment when he reacted to saying that to him

You completely missed the fact that Hyetta isn't actually Hyetta... or rather the person we meet that looks like Hyetta is actually someone else. We've actually met "Hyetta" before... but originally her name was Irina.

When Castle Morne's Misbegotten servants rose up in arms against their masters, Irina was forced to run from the keep. Her father, Edgar, was tasked with protecting the Grafted Greatsword from harm. Unable to kill the Leonine Misbegotten who claimed it, he stood vigil until he could regroup and reclaim his honour. When we meet Irina, her caravan had been ambushed by the Misbegotten we see littered around the road on the way to the Castle. She hands us a note, pleading for her father to come save her because she knew the situation was dire... but Edgar refuses upon receiving it claiming duty. We return to find Irina's corpse... with a Misbegotten Cleaver embedded in it. Edgar is broken... but swears revenge. This will be the last we speak to him.

After defeating Godrick, we meet "Hyetta"... a young lady who suspiciously looks like Irina. She asks for the Shabriri Grapes. This is in Liurnia. As we continue to explore Liurnia, we find a shack full of corpses... and they aren't all Misbegotten. Edgar has been driven utterly mad and now tries to kill everyone he sees including you. He drops grapes. Grapes we feed to "Hyetta".

Much later in the Mountaintop of the Giants, it is revealed that Shabriri (chaos incarnate) is able to possess corpses and speak through them. In fact, this revelation hits us as we speak to a recently deceased friend: Yura. We find Yura taking his last breaths in the Second Church of Marika from wounds he sustained fighting against Eleonora... so we KNOW he's dead.

So let's think back to what we can assume about our friend "Hyetta"...
-She's a dead ringer for our recently deceased friend Irina
-She eats Shabriri Grapes... the eyes of people who have succumbed to the Frenzied Flame
-The consciousness of an adherent to the Frenzied Flame CAN possess the recently dead

So based on that, we probably fed our friend's possessed corpse her own deceased father's eyeballs so we can burn the entire world down or something.

Everyone always assumes that Sellen wasn't explicitly searching to become a Graven Mass, but given how it's been known for ages what happens to those who play with the Glintstone Current and fuse with other mages to do so, I don't think her fate unintended.
People interpret she's in distraught because of how hard it is to her to talk, but she can still teach you high level sorceries no problem and without complain, so her mind is not nearly gone. It realy just looks like she achieved her goal.

You can save Big Boggart from being defiled by not buying any prawn until the dung eater has been taken care of
(more specifically, if you don't buy any prawn up until the dung eater is confined to his chair, or outright killed in his jail cell.
for maximum benefits, defeat his invader at the moat, give him selivius' potion, and when he goes limp, attack his corpse to get his armor set and weapon.
with 10 starlight shards you can buy the Dung Eater as a puppet, and honestly he's one of the best summons in-game.)

Knowing what the Dung Eater does to people makes me question what Shabriri did exactly besides heresy to earn the title of most reviled man in history, unless heresy is the ultimate act of evil that is

I never noticed that Dung Eater would rip people's souls out of their literal ass... I mean I thought he killed people and then raped the corpses, spreading the curse that way.

Either way both ways are disgusting.

There is a (kinda) wholesome twist at the end of Fia's questline; relating to the weird deathbed companion role, She give you a special baldaquin blessing, in the item description it say that this is a very rare blessing that a deathbed companion give only once in their life time only when they consent to.

So in the end as weird as the deathbed companion role is, Fia finally do it of her own volition, for you and Godwinn.

i didn't do many quests, so the most disturbing thing i found in elden ring aside from the mohg and miquella thing was this merchant left of selivus' rise. if you go to him late enough in the game his own creations/puppets will murder him. you only hear his scared last moments and upon finding him statues stand above his body. they don't attack you and you can't attack them.

Hyetta when you tell her what Shabriri grapes are: Oh no, no, I can't believe it, all the peope who gave their eyes, it's horrible....
Hyetta literally a minute later right when I reload the area: "Hmmm, oh delicious, tasty, I want more! (-insert some generic french restaurant theme music and Gordon Ramsey accent - )"

Fia isn't having the children of people on their deathbed. She even says it's not vulgar and is stated to be a sort of last comfort while helping the soul move on (or something similar). The baby thing is only for Goldwyn as the Prince of Death.

Imagine being born with some kind of body mutation that also has effects on your psyche and makes you have nightmares. Ontop of that youre outcast because of it and to top it of, people are cosplaying your nightmares and killing your kind

Fun fact it seems the dung eater isn't removing anything but in fact placing the seedbed curse within a subject by force. Hence why you have to go around collecting his previous victims.

Yeah I had a "are we the baddies?" moment pretty early on when I was killing soldiers in Limgrave. There are item descriptions that say they've gone mad but, uh... I dunno! They pretty much just seem to be doing their jobs and minding their own business!
