Wow, this is absolutely insane! I love watching every second of this video. HONESTLY, I thought I knew so much about the San Andreas fault... particularly how big it is. HOWEVER, seeing its length and DEPTH at the same time, really put things in perspective. Thank you so much for putting this video together!

Some interesting graphics showing the different sizes of well known places. I didn't know how deep the San Andreas Fault was. I've been in many earthquakes as I live in The central Sierra Nevada foothills. Have lived mostly from Santa Cruz up to Lake Tahoe. Highest earthquake I've felt was probably a 5.5. Thank you for this channel!

Yes, I’ve been aware all of my life about how long the fault is. Unfortunately, it won’t really matter if that fault decides to rupture and anyone living near the epicenter is going to be toast…😢 I have been through the Sylmar quake, Whittier Narrows, Northridge, and others that I can’t even remember at this time…

Oh my God 😮it’s terrifying and the question is as always, when is going to happen?? I wonder the neighbors of California are going to feel it too. Nevada, Arizona, Oregon.

So the San Andreas continues beyond the Salton Sea into the Gulf of California?

Once again WRONG
THE SAN ANDREAS (glad you spelled it right this time ends/starts near/under THE SALTON SEA. The other edge ends near SAN FRANCISCO BAY.

You guys have or lose all credibility with the false facts & usual typos.
