No good.
If I recall, here in the UK something like that went on sale in the early 80s.
It was on the rear wheel at the very top.
It looked like a belt sander, with the flat belt on the crown of the tyre.
It was pretty much useless, and didn't catch on.

this design looks like it'd suck to use. there are better ways to build an ebike that are far more efficient and cost effective and far more structurally sound if your willing to put 2-4 hours of elbow grease and a really low cost of entry when it comes to the tools required. companies like Bafang and tongsheng both create decent ebike conversion kits that act as assist or a full on motor and if you just want to bike normally you can just turn it of in the selection page
