Possible to find a GOOD CHEAP PADEL RACKET??

Many padel rackets are so expensive, quite often you can spend €250 or more trying to find your weapon! But do you NEED to?

Here we set a budget of €50 and a challenge to find the best padel racket we could! And to be honest we were surprised!!

Not all Decathlons around the world have the range of rackets as they do in Spain - but you can find some bargains for sure!

Racket being tested: Kuikma 510 - price: €49.99
This is a completely objective review - we are not sponsored by Decathlon or Kuikma!

When I started playing padel in October, I saw this racket in a Decathlon in Portugal and fell in love with it (by its beauty and by the feeling of moving it) ❤ my first racket which accompanies me to alla my classes and matches, absolutely adore it !

One of the best padel rackets I've ever tried was EUR 16.98. I bought it at a Lidl supermarket in Portugal. I tried it, loved it, and immediately went back to buy some more. They were all gone, never saw them again. It was one of those one-time runs and deals big chain supermarkets do from time to time. The brand: Crivit. Model RX750. i currently use the NOX ML10 Pro Cup (and I love it), but I would gladly go back to that Crivit without hesitation.

Thanks a lot! Can you please do the 990 soft from the same brand? It's supposed to be the high end, around 100€

Nothing wrong with the 510 from Kuikma, really easy to use. I think nowadays, it is really hard to find a "terrible" racket at any sort of price range. Quality has come a long way.

Currently looking for a great racket in the 100-150€ range. Intermediate that wants to switch from a round shape to something more powerful, with a rough surface for better slice while keeping solid control.

I use green Adidas raquet ( 80 eur) with rough surface. I love it because it's great for spinning, slicing. I used to play pingpong a lot, and oponents hate my wonky spins lol

Hi Sandy, Love the review on this racket, trying to find my go to racket, unfortunately I have gone through 3 others, each damaged and cracked. I think I need help with my choice, also I am on a budget, so any help would be fantastic.

I would like to see a review of the Kuikmas which cost around 90-100 euros and know how they compare to more known brands as I feel you pay extra just for the branding itself sometimes.

My thought is that between feb-march is the perfect time to buy since all the brands want to push their new ones out. Found my choice to be more than 50% cheaper. Found my current one after looking at the specs of my first racket I liked (Bullpadel that Paquito had 2019) and just copied the specs from that one, modifyed it a bit since I wanted it lighter and ended up with a RS racket designed for women. I am on my second racket and have a third in the wings for when this one "goes down".
How a racket feels is so personal and I would like you to line out what you look for in a racket and what in your play style makes you look for that specific thing.
I loved you pointing out that the racket would suit the guy playing defence better.

Hello, which racket can you compare to on the market? Bullpadel ionic control?

I kind of wonder what makes a racket bad/overpriced. Could be an interesting topic.

To be honest most intermediate player or me could probably get away with a relative cheap racket maybe not 50 EUR but at least not needing to have a racket for 400 EUR. But as for me I like having the good stuff so to speak and like the technical side of thing hence I end up looking at the expensive rackets anyway. Also for me it's a mental thing like if having the best racket from any brand I can't really make it to be the rackets fault for missing shots or any errors so it's one variable less as an excuse 😉😁
And it's fun to try rackets too.

What's the difference between the colour of the foam (black or white) inside the holes of a racket? Thank you 🙂👊🏻

Thank you for review. It's just a beginning for me in padel, so I'm choosing racket for myself: KUIKMA PR 500, 510, 530, 560 or 590 - which one is for me ? Man, 45, 75 kg, 171 cm. Thank in advance for your advice.

Can you maybe tell me what the difference to the 560 would be? My local Decathlon does not have the 510 right now, but it does have the 560.
Beginner with about 10 sessions here, only used rental rackets so far.
