It seems you are too close to the ps camera. The psvr tracking sweet spot is between 5 ft to 6.5 ft from the camera depending of the game you play. It is the distance that maximise the tracking volume and accuracy. The ps camera can also been angle down or up if necessary. Usually i place the camera slightly above head level slightly angle down for standing gameplay. I place the camera at chest level normal angle for sitting gameplay.

Blood & truth is an amazing game !! Blinder when moving can be disable in the setting for people that can handle free locomotion in vr. The experience is even better with full field of view :))

I didn't know there was a 2nd gen version with the HDR passthrough. Looks like I'll have to order a whole new headset.

I would say that it actually depends on the person I actually use glasses with VR just fine without any blurry issues

My PS5 and PSVR Both arrived today.Im not even OPENING them.My cleaner is bringing her son with her tomorrow, to set it all up, on my 55inch Led 4k TV.I was thinking of trying to set it up myself?.Until I saw YOUR Video:)Great video mate.Thanks for the heads up, on how difficult this setup IS:))

Seemed like you tried a VR game you hadn’t tried out on PS4. I was hoping you might do a comparison to how a PSVR game runs on PS4 vs PS5 . If frame rates improve in the goggles or whatever. I did enjoy the video regardless. I may need to get that game!

ok to those reading this in 2024/2025. Things to note. There are two generations of psvr 1. The psvr 1 in this video is generation 1. (don't get confused with psvr 2) If you have the psvr1 gen 1 like in this video. You'll need 4 additional items to be able to play with the vr headset and ps5 games.

Item needed:

1.) HDMI Switch (1 in 2 out)-Or-(Depending on the year your watching this, Bi-directional hdmi switch.)

2.) 3 additional Hdmi cables (If you include the HDMI cable that came with the ps5: You'll need 4 hdmi cables total)

Directions: Place HDMI switch in ideal location and connect the ps5 to the switch (in)

From the switch you'll want to output 2 wires. One, a hdmi connection going directly to the back of the tv(this will be used so you can play ps5 games on 4k resolution). Two, the other hdmi connection going into the psvr 1 box. Which will then need another hdmi cable to hook up to the back of the tv (so you can play ps4 vr games, and to watch Blu-ray/3-D movies)

Fun Fact: PSVR 1 allows you to watch all blu-ray AND 3D movies. PSVR 2 does NOT allow you to watch 3D movies (but does support traditional Blu-ray format) So psvr 1 is superior to the psvr 2 in regards to movie selection range.

I set mine up for the first time. I had to move my PS5 to the living room so I had enough play space and room for all of the cables. So many damn cables
