I'm 42. I never wear shorts. Hid my legs my whole life. To see other people saying they don't give a f... gives me all the feels!

Strawberry legs are normal. They typically occur when the hair is beginning to regrow. If you want to see them less frequently, let your leg hair grow out and shave. I promise you won’t have to shave it everyday and risk cutting your skin. Exfoliating the skin (not everyday) is also a way to prevent. Use soaps to lather the legs (NEVER dry shave)

“Strawberry legs” is a colloquial term used to describe the appearance of small, dark spots or dots on the skin of the legs, similar to the seeds on the surface of a strawberry. These spots can be caused by various factors, including:

1. Ingrown Hairs: When hair follicles become clogged and hair grows back into the skin, it can cause inflammation and small dark spots.
2. Keratosis Pilaris: This common skin condition results in small, rough bumps on the skin, often accompanied by dark spots.
3. Folliculitis: Inflammation of the hair follicles can lead to red or dark spots.
4. Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation: After skin irritation or inflammation (such as shaving or waxing), the skin can develop dark spots as it heals.
5. Clogged Pores: Excess oil and dead skin cells can clog pores, leading to dark spots.
6. Excessive Sun Exposure: Overexposure to the sun’s UV rays can cause pigmentation changes in the skin.

To address strawberry legs, you can consider exfoliating regularly, moisturizing, using gentle hair removal methods, and protecting your skin from excessive sun exposure. If the condition is persistent or concerning, it’s best to consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

just remember y'all, if you buy this and do the treatment, do it for yourself. don't do it because someone told you those legs are ugly and you're trying to live up to their expectations. do it because YOU want to. do it because YOU feel more comfortable with smooth legs. cause babe, you are beautiful just the way you are and you don't need to buy this especially to impress someone. if they don't like you for your LEGS (they're just legs not your whole personality babe) then they don't deserve you.❤️

stay safe honey buns :)

edit: btw, im not hating on this product at all, im sure its great😅 i just wanted to remind you not to force yourself into doing these treatments, whether it be for your legs, lashes or skin if you don't feel comfortable doing so.🥰

I remember coming to my mom, so upset about the large pores on my legs and asking why the other girls didn't have them. She said she didn't know, but that she had them too and didn't like them either and that if I moisturized they might go away. That's all I got. If you have daughters, please drive home for them how perfectly imperfect they are and be kind to yourself in front of them, they're always listening. Could have saved me a lot of self-loathing.
Edit: completely forgot I even made this comment, the responses are kinda...wow??? My mom's response to MOST of my insecurities was "hope it goes away" and it did intense damage to my self image. I'm not insinuating I have a bad mother, Jesus. Just that that's one way in which she could have handled parenting me differently. My mom did great raising me in a lot of different ways but watching her refuse to tackle her insecurities and mine in a healthy way harmed me mentally. I am allowed to look back as a person that is now a parent and disagree with my mother's parenting style without you all trying to tell me that I'm claiming hardship I didn't live through.

This condition is called qurarosis pilaris and is not your fault. I tried moustirizing, scrubbing, tried oil, creams and search nonstop, and discovered that if you scrub them is worse for your skin. I still have them and I don't care anymore because it's not something bad for your health. And sometimes it's just part of you

I love my strawberry legs because they make me unique😅 Don't ever let anybody call you ugly because the only reason that they will be calling you ugly is because they're just jealous that you came out of the womb looking way better than they ever could😊
