ENCANTO 2 CONFIRMED! Everything You Need To Know!

A few years ago, audiences of every age were blown away by an instant hit when Disney's Encanto premiered. The film introduced a score of new characters to love, a complicated story about overcoming generational struggles, and a soundtrack that's still widely considered one of the best among recent animated films. There hasn't been another release as successful as Encanto, so it's no surprise that a sequel is officially in its earliest stages of production. I loved Encanto and look forward to watching Madrigal's next adventure. Since we have very little to go off of right now, I'd like to use today's video to theorize the different things we could see in Encanto 2.

I know this is not Encanto 2 related but... in Descendants 5, there's a character named Luis who is related to the Madrigals. If descendants and encanto 2 were to be interconnected, then I could see Luis make an appearance if there is a time skip.

Also no, for me the "Encanto" movie doesn't need a sequel, then I agree with Don Bluth on one thing, 3D cartoon animation ages quickly in contrast to 2D, 3D cartoon animation is a passing fad and states with 2D animation as it once was.

I love Encanto. I wish (Even if I know it will Never Happen), They would give every Family member their own Story… They all have their Powers and the reason why its good for them. I wanna now more about Louisa, Isabella and so…. There Are Sooo Many Characters which have potential.

I Agree that this movie definitely need a sequel to it. For a possible villain, it should be the one who originally gave the family thier magic. Also yes to there being more members of the Madrigal family. If the grandmother should pass away in the film, then make sure that it happens towards the end of the movie.

I have a theory that every generation there is a “candle bearer” that does not get a power but will be the next person to be the glue for the family

When the house fell, there was also a crack in the mountain surrounding the encanto. I bet new people from the outside will stumble upon it, and Mirabel will have to help the rest of the village deal with that. She will want to lead with love, kindness, and understanding, but I’m sure many in the village, including some in the Madrigal family, will be scared and hostile, remembering the stories passed down about why the encanto came to be in the first place. Mirabel will have to convince them to not start another war, and to give the newcomers a chance. That’s also why I think Antonio gained the ability to talk to animals. Birds and other animals will come back with news about the outside world, so Mirabel will better be able to guide her family now that they are exposed to the rest of the world.

Encanto 2 villain can be outsiders finding out about the area and if there's new technology involved too depending on the years going by like Air planes flying over Encanto area ect. a plane crash could introduce new characters and maybe they don't wana go back.

Since at the end of Encanto some of the mountains had evaporated, I guess the next conflict would be when the people in Encanto would meet the outside world...

For some reason, I kind of think of her like the avatar. She’s the only one that that’s different and people assume that means that she can’t do whatever everybody else is capable of doing. Ang was way too young, so they just assumed that he wasn’t gonna be as much help. But just like Maribel was the savior using abilities that she had. Things others took for granted she saw value in, and never backed down from the challenge due to others perception. She was always fully capable and never let anybody tell her otherwise. In fact she was the only voice of reason, the only one keeping traditions and in the first song it’s evident. She doesn’t envy their gifts but wonders how her own special talent (in my opinion it’s empathy and drive) will serve her community the way her magic relatives can. In the end of it is very clear that despite being the only descendant without a “gift” she is still the most grounded and that makes her the most special of them all.

My top favorite Disney Princess was Mulan, but since Mirabel appeared, she became my number one. I simply adore her. I wish I could have a Mirabel figurine. ❤❤
