If you turn it on before you plug it in to charge, the light goes off when you plug it in, and if the power goes off it will lite up so you can find it in the dark.

Wow, this may put my Fenix E12 light into from my EDC stuff into my hiking bag - I love the Fenix but the idea of having this small and rechargable thing on my keys really is appealing ... Thanks for the great review! :)

Great video. I am newer to all this stuff but many weeks ago, I saw Chris review this on Prepared Mind, he is one of my go to guys for stuff. He said good things, I ordered one, tested it, you are bang on with all your points in the video --- and yes - it does wane and step down after about an hour or so -- maybe longer for me. Then it takes forever to run out after it steps down LOL. So I bought 2 more and they came this week.

I have them in different colours, that way I can remember if I used the clear one a lot.... it may be almost dead, so use another if I am out. Or did I charge the clear one... yes -- so that is full, -- use the blue one first etc etc. I have them now for multiple bags and places and frankly --- this is a great product, that is why I bought more --- in case they stop making them!!! TY for the review. Very thorough.

Good review & I've found exactly the same results here in the UK, so it's a good standard. I keep one on my 550 neck knife as well as in with my ESEE 5 rig too. One on the keyring, one in the EDC back & another in the E&E pouch too. Great bit of kit, very adaptable & practical if you have a small power bank in your E&E kit too. Wouldn't take much to solar recharge either I'd bet. Will have a try this year.
