The NiteCore Tube Tiny USB Rechargeable Key chain Light is a well thought out design of what a proper light weight pocket light should be. I am completely amazed by all the options provided to the operator. A must buy at under $10. That and they sell a Yellow one :)

Features I like about this key light:

Sturdy Construction.
Battery has a standby of up to a year.
45 Lumen High.
1 Lumen Low for 48 hours.
An Infinity setting that will let you tailor your brightness/run time needs. Very cool!
Polycarbonate body.
Lockout Mode.
Momentary High Mode.
Quality Stainless Hardware.
Micro USB charging jack.
IP65 Dust/Water resistance.
1.5m impact resistance.
Multiple Color options.

Features that could be added or improved on.
Set the LED back just a tad more, to protect it.
A more Neutral White color would be nice.

Overall, this is a fun purchase. You will enjoy owning this little power house. Pick a color and throw it on your key chain. I would recommend charging it twice a year. Before Winter, and after Spring. Unless you are using it all the time.

I bought several in different colors and different reasons..
I believe your going to like one of the places I put one...
I have a few non lighted portable radios that I found a place to attach the light to use at night to see the dial . It's perfect for that cause it's not too bright in since it's now attached I don't have to turn on any light source.. Besides car keys I put them in my day to day (edc) backpack on the key fob it has..

I have a clear blue one I bought in late 2016 (Bigclive did a review of it and after I watched it I *immediately* went and ordered one). I use it intermittently and the charge lasts for months!

For me it's a mite large for a keychain -I'm picky about bulk. If I had one I'd probably keep it at the desk for peering into drawers or around dark corners. The price is great for a rechargeable light!

have a Tube in translucent blue for 3 years now, still works great ...some flashaholics have actually hacked the Tube to produce even more output & and a warmer color tint. btw, i also have the Nitecore Tip in high CRI, which is also an excellent smaller form factor flashlight, worth checking out. great review Todd !

I wanted a light with me ALWAYS. I own 2 of these. One is on my "dog tags" chain around my neck at all times, along with a small whistle and my tags. The light is handy for getting from the car to the house in my rural pitch dark location. Pull the chain out, turn on the Tube, and let it hang as I carry in my groceries.
