I lived in Japan for 24 years from 1990-2014. They are very resilient people and they pride themselves in everything they do.

Worked for the Japanese for 10 years. They taught me so much that has helped me in life. Respect. Consideration. Empathy. Attention to detail

Since my mom is Japanese, I go there to visit family and the cleanliness and respectfulness truly stands out. It’s something that doesn’t go unnoticed. I Love Japan and the culture, and hope to take my son there soon one day to visit family and to get the experience of the culture firsthand.

I was lucky enough to snag a full scholarship to study in Japan back in 1992, and I returned every year for a while! Living in beautiful Hiroshima was a game-changer for me. I tutored classmates in English, attended vibrant cultural events, and soaked up the warmth and curiosity of the local community. It’s wild to think that their technology was ahead of what we had in the US!

I truly encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zones and dive into the adventure of exploring new countries. Embrace different cultures, attend local events, and discover the rich values of honor, respect, and creativity that shape our world. Go out there and make some unforgettable memories!

I was in Japan in 2017 and I had the time of my life. The nicest people I’ve ever met. While flying there from Chicago I had a Japanese man sitting next to me and the dinner came by and I was asleep. I woke up with food on my table. He grabbed it for me. I remember I was running late for my next plane after landing in Tokyo and I couldn’t get my luggage up the stairs so I could make it to the door where your board the plane and one of the employees found me, grabbed my luggage, and walked me straight to the plane. I will never forget the love and generosity these people had for a total stranger. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The only time I ever saw trash on the floor in japan was when, I assume, someone lost their coffee cup lid and another person just picked it up and pocketed it without a second thought. I really wish more countries were like this

Japan isn't living in the future. They're living with kindness, respect, integrity, accountability, and civility.

I invited a Japanese friend for my child’s birthday, she was the only one that stayed behind to help me clean up. Love them and their culture ❤

Respect and Humility is all that exists in a lot of countries outside of the USA... Look at how the Japanese fans cleaned the stadium up after a match at the FIFA World Cup 2022... Unmatched

Japan really does it well there’s so much etiquette so classy and it really is quite normal to everyone. Everyone is polite. I miss it so much.

One of the most memorable places I visited. People were so polite, cleanliness was prioritized, beautiful scenic places, & loved bullet train ride.

I remember the last World Cup, fans stayed to help cleanup and the Japanese team left their locker room absolutely spotless after their match. This puts that even more into perspective
