hey dude was in the same place like 3 months ago i prayed and prayed it turned out i was too proud and God didnt want to work through me becuase i would take all the glory. It took some time to get that feeling again and had to do the one thing i didnt want to do which was tell some about it and get prayed for but it was worth it. My advice would be to look at your life and ask God why u cant get closer to him and if u have any sin which u do repadiativly stop it and James 4:8
