I like listening to Hans' parts, they're very underated. Especially the run on "door" in "love is an open door" part, it's heaven.

I can't believe this is the first song where the protagonist sings a song with the antagonist. I'm just mind blown.

If we just ignore the fact that Hans is evil this is actually a really cute song

I don''t know if someone else have noticed this too but when they sing "you and I are just meant to be" (1:17) Hans says, "you" (for Anna) and Anna says, "I" hinting that Hans's love was fake and Anna's love was one-sided. Amazing detail.

When you realize this is actually the most cleverly hidden villian song ever, all you gotta do is listen extremely careful to Han's Lyrics and how he interacts with Anna throughout the song

For hans "Love is an open door" is a literal open door into the royal family so he can enact his plan

Unlike Anna who is completely unaware

1:16
Hans: You(Anna)
Anna: And I(Anna)
Both: were just meant to be.

This is why duets are weird.

WHY WOULD THEY GIVE A VILLAIN SUCH A GOOD VOICE OMG

_In all honesty, I don't believe Hans was originally a villain. I think that whenever he realized he could finally get his own Kingdom that clouded his mind, and that's whenever he turned evil._
_I genuinely believed he originally loved Anna, but he didn't think things through thoroughly._
_If he had kissed Anna, the true love thing probably wouldn't have worked. Not because he didn't love her, but because it needed to be Anna's sister. However, this could've ended poorly too because Anna most likely would've realized she loved Kristoff anyways- and then Hans would've been left alone-_
_Unless he somehow managed to charm Elsa-_
_Also, since Elsa wasn't devastated, the thick snow that made them unable to see around them would've still been there-_
_Oop- but then Elsa could've ran into a frozen Anna which could cause the clearing, but just a bit later-_
_Kristoff, Olaf, and Hans seeing Anna like that_
_And then her unfreezing-_
_An ending where Hans wasn't thrown into prison, and punched by Anna, but instead thanked and possibly going back home?_
_I mean, like, if that dude with the mustache hadn't of made him realize that he could take over Arendelle, prolly might'a how it went down._
_He could've also stayed there_
_Who knows, maybe he would've somehow charmed Elsa like I said earlier- Anna prolly would tell her Hans tried and all that and then they'd start talking. Maybe Hans & her would've fallen in love somehow-_

*_I'm literally down her writing an Alternate Universe, Lmao, I'm sorry_*

"Love Is An Open Door"
(from "Frozen" soundtrack)

[Anna:] Okay, can I just, say something crazy?

[Hans:] I love crazy!

[Anna:] All my life has been a series of doors in my face
And then suddenly I bump into you

[Hans:]
I was thinking the same thing! 'Cause like
I've been searching my whole life to find my own place
And maybe it's the party talking or the chocolate fondue
[Anna:] [giggles]

[Anna:] But with you...
[Hans:] But with you

[Hans:] I found my place...
[Anna:] I see your face...

[Both:]
And it's nothing like I've ever known before!
Love is an open door!
Love is an open door!
Love is an open door!

[Anna:] With you!
[Hans:] With you!
[Anna:] With you!
[Hans:] With you!

[Both:] Love is an open door...

[Hans:] I mean it's crazy...
[Anna:] What?

[Hans:] We finish each other's-
[Anna:] Sandwiches!

[Hans:] That's what I was gonna say!

[Anna:] I've never met someone-

[Both:]
Who thinks so much like me!
Jinx! Jinx again!
Our mental synchronization
Can have but one explanation

[Hans:] You-
[Anna:] And I-
[Hans:] Were-
[Anna:] Just-

[Both:] Meant to be!

[Anna:] Say goodbye...
[Hans:] Say goodbye...

[Both:]
To the pain of the past
We don't have to feel it anymore!

Love is an open door!
Love is an open door!
Life can be so much more!

[Anna:] With you!
[Hans:] With you!
[Anna:] With you!
[Hans:] With you!

[Both:] Love is an open door

I always ignored this song before as it was too 'romantic' for my liking but listening to this as an older human being, i realized this isn't romantic at all and arguably the best song in the whole first movie.

Didn't really enjoy this as much when I was younger and watched the movie but this is an actual bop

Guys, Hans is actually a mirror of every character here in this movie. When he was with Anna, she was goofy and a klutz right? So is Hans. Elsa was tough yet scared, so is Hans. When he was with the duke, Hans had the same attitude (arrogant) but when he saw his own reflection, you can see or probably feel that that was the real him.

Personally, I don't think its that unreasonable that she wanted to marry him immediately after hearing those vocals and runs 😂😂 and he matched her energy the whole time. I would too
