13 Tips to INSTANTLY Improve in Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 is a next generation free-to-play Action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, featuring co-op for up to six players. Set years after the original Path of Exile, you will return to the dark world of Wraeclast and seek to end the corruption that is spreading. Journey across the deadly continent of Wraeclast, meeting multiple immersive cultures while facing off against evil in many forms.

Do battle with Corrupted abominations and Divine creations alike wielding skills that can be used together in graceful combinations. Choose your own skills, and don equipment of your choosing. Path of Exile 2's skill tree allows any class to specialise into any style of combat. Any class can use any Skill Gem, and those Skill Gems can be further modified by up to 5 Support Gems that can drastically alter how the skill works.

In addition, you can now Dual-Specialise your passive skill tree, allowing your character to switch between two wildly different fighting styles at will.

You should also mention the "Turn on Life/Mana levels" option in the interface levels just above your display healthbar option. It also shows spirit and it was how I noticed that both my buddies (we were streaming in discord) had turned off their first spirit skill by accidently adding a support that increased the cost. It just turned off their aura skills without any notification and I caught it because I saw spirit 30/30 on their screen with that setting on. This could be important once you get gear with spirit too in case you change a piece that has it and lose an important spirit skill because of it.

To enter an instance on console you press A or X, to open up the menu to reset instance you just need to hold A or X, or whatever your interact button is.

2:30 FWIW when viewing the map from a waypoint, you can toggle to show "special points of interest" (R3 on controller) which allows to cycle between all those sub-encounters for a given location and shows details on their name like bone pits or the name of the boss.

Also the hint about instances lasting 8-15 minutes applies to portals - when you AFK in town too long, your portal will just vanish. So if you need to AFK for longer, then do that within the map instance and press Esc to pause.

Great tips! Thanks bro. I noticed you are playing merc and have been looking for step by step guides for early on to what specific skills and support gems to use with those skills as you progress. I know Mobalytics kinda has that but doesnt really show when is a good time to use those and when to move on. Thanks again for the video!

A bright green check mark on completed nodes would work wonders for those of us with Colorblind or vision problems. I cant tell if they are completed or not on my screen.

Console zone reset is your primary button (A on Xbox, X on PS5) Long press that button at the waypoint or at the zone doorway and you can have it generate a new instance that you are going into. Discovered when I was being thrown into Australian instances from the US and was able to reset them to my closest then.
