Jack and the Beanstalk is my favourite fairy tale and I was really looking forward to it. I think there's a lot of potential within the story itself, especially since there's so much Disney could do with the differing scale concept. Oh well. Here's to the future.

I actually didn't know about this and that I do, I'm kinda sad it was scrapped it's a different take on the classic tale, and we haven't really seen different takes done on it before

I can’t stop thinking about a giant girl spending time with Jack for a month! playing with him as a doll!

Now I know the idea for the plot, it sounds like it could have been a fun idea, a lot like the kind of thing I my self would have written, and may still write. Looks like I'll have to go to Zootopia and pick up the bootleg. That or just watch the BFG again. Also I would love to see more back story on that scrapped elf thing you just talked about.

At one point everybody couldn't wait for this to come out but until now it's Scrapped!

Sounds like Gigantic might be the modern equivalent of Chanticleer.If Gigantic resurfaces then it will undoubtedly receive a complete overhaul. One thing that might have helped is shifting the genre from fantasy to sci-fi. The world of giants could be an alien planet or another dimension.

Disney already had Mickey and the Beanstalk anyway, so Gigantic would have bin more of a remake to a package film then a actual feature.

i hope that this wont be scrapped permanently, it looks different from the way the other jack and the beanstalk movies are told, and it looks good, i for one hope to hear more from this film in the future.
