If you love a good smoothie like me, you likely are curious what the difference is between a meal replacement shake and a protein powder, right? Sharing the differences in this video to clear up some confusion. I have many friends asking me if these meal replacement powders are really worth it when it comes to weight loss and the answer is tricky. I use them a couple times a week to "stay on track" and when I don't have time to sit down and eat a sandwich or a salad for lunch. A smoothie is much easier for me to eat on the go! I think if you are trying to lose weight, a meal replacement shake is a good idea if you actually replace a meal with the shake! If you're not, then they probably won't!

Do you know if the powder is nut free? (Also, would you mind maybe doing a video on nut free protein/quick meal/snack options? I have so much trouble finding health foods that I'm not allergic to, especially when it comes to granola/protein bars.)

Thanks for the recommendation. I have never heard of Zenbu, but as a mama to a 21-month old, this sounds like a great substitute when life gets in the way of a healthy meal :)

I have heard great things about shakeology. I can’t get over the price and I definitely can’t afford it. Any recommendations for protein powders that have similar nutrients? Do the products that you mentioned have comparable nutrients or better?

I make my meal replacement shakes out of growli muesli when I'm going to be travelling, works better for me than protein shakes

For the love of god don’t go for protein shakes for meal replacement.

I did a diet plan where I bought this meal replacement but it took too long to get so I just used protein powder for the time being. Worst decision ever. I felt like I was dying every day drinking that for breakfast and lunch.

I got my meal replacement shakes from RSP Nutrition, and felt amazing for the second week.

Positive note, I lost 14 pounds and all my clothes fit me.

Negative note, COVID hit and now I’m fluffier than ever.

How do you feel about 310 meal replacement shakes? I went to go check out the one you liked and it says it’s discontinued. Are you aware of other meal replacement shakes that not only taste good, but is also not super expensive as well?

Would it be harmful to have a meal replacement shake and protein shake on the same day? For example, if I have the meal replacement as breakfast, and then a few hours later I drink a protein isolate 30 minutes after a workout? Just wondering if this this would be "overkill" on the powders. Thanks.

Yea, make sure you mistakengly don't buy I paint bucket instead of this MRE...it looks kinda similar.
