Just watched this at my local cinema in a classic showings. 35 years later People was cheering like it was a new release. Fantastic experience.

For a number of years, I lived in Santa Cruz, CA, the "Santa Carla" of this movie. It always felt a little unreal to me that I actually lived in the place where this movie was made... every summer, there was one showing of "Lost Boys" on the beach. It started as soon as it got dark (around 9:00 pm), and no matter how many times I'd seen it - the magic was always there. As my kids got older and could watch it, we started going together; they still have great memories of those summers. So do I.

An Absolute classic, the soundtrack, the fashion, Kiefer being Iconic, an almost perfect movie.

Amusing to watch a trailer for an 80s movie edited like a modern movie trailer. It's not bad, but it certainly has a whole different vibe.

Such a fantastic time to be young and alive back when this awesome movie first came out. Great actors, a great story and an awesome soundtrack. The 4K UHD release is definitely worth the investment.
