I cannot love enough that they vet out potential buyers based on their knowledge of keeping a specific animal. That is something everyone in the reptile hobby needs to focus on more. Very impressive.

Woah some actually good, healthy looking axolotls. Usually they miss at least one of their limbs when displayed in a pet store. That's awesome

That super crimson iguana is the coolest. Iguanas seem to get a bad rap as pets, but in my experience, it's all about how they're raised and kept. I had several that I acquired/rescued in the early 90s as adults. 2 females and one male. Unsure of their ages, but definitely young-ish adults based on size. I rehomed the females and kept the male for about six years. When I had to take a job that required travel, I had a connection at the local zoo who adopted him and let him loose in their four-story enclosed aviary built around a massive oak tree. The only reason they took him was because he was dog tame, just a complete sweetheart.

I used to visit him regularly until I moved from the area, but he was still going strong almost a decade after I got him. It wasn't until I recently got interested in herps again, for the first time in two decades, that I learned via YouTube that iguanas seem to have a bad reputation as pets

I’ve only been into Xtreme Exotics a handful of times, but I really like them. One of the times I went there I was looking for a basking light for my bearded dragon (his had gone out a couple of days ago) and I was asking Sabrina about the basking lights, and she made sure that I also had UVB (I did), which I really appreciated that she cared enough to ask

I love the heirloom sulcata tortoise. There’s a 56 year old gopher tortoise in MN that has been with the same woman for the whole time and is in her will for the next generation of caretakers.

Omg I was there earlier this year but did not know they were famous people...the Bengal cat room is the first thing you see when you walk in and they gator cages in the back were still under construction.  I was thinking at the time that these people do exactly what I would do if I had the time, place, and money.  Great place!!!!  Thanks for sharing Dav....also I mentioned your reptile incubator video in mine...thanks for helping me build mine :)
