Robert Rodriguez sounds like such a badass in every form

The funny part about all this is that A LOT of people (around the time these released) would constantly get the names mixed up with each other.

I can understand the confusion though, as the title No Country For Old Men could have been the name of There Will Be Blood since it features an older man that is out in the country.

Similarly, the title There Will Be Blood would also work for "No Country..." as it has a serial killer that spills a lot of blood from his victims.

Both of those movies are bad ass. And it's weird that I rented them together.

I went to see both movies. I think There Will Be Blood came out first. Then a few months later, No Country came out. They both did not disappoint. Javier won the oscar and Daniel Day Lewis won as well. we had really good movies in the 2000s.

I remember it was cool that both movies came out around the same time. 2007, Maybe my favorite year for movies. 😁

There Will Be Blood & No Country For Old Men are two of THE best movies of this century, and 2 of my absolute favorites of ALL time. I have mo idea how many times I've viewed each of them.

Seems appropriate to have TX psych band Black Angels for this YT video.

They should have had cameos in each other’s movies.

I love both of those movies so much, but this song I love as well because it plays during the last of us 2 when Ellie infiltrates the Rattlers camp at the end

Marfa, Texas was also where they filmed the wedding sequence at the end of "Fandango."

No Country, There will be Blood, 3:10 To Yuma, The Assassination of Jesse James, 2007 was a wild time to be alive

I remember Robert Rodriguez his filming director style is unique and all his kids have R names ... Robot was one and Rocket? That's really cool. I think I read of a rash of celebrities off the wall name choices for their own children: I 'member Jason Lee named his kid Pilot Inspector but the spelling was different. Ving Rhames named his kid ReignBeau which is beautiful ❤️😂🎉

And both movies have rooted themselves firmly in my top 10

Two outstanding movies. If you haven’t watched them, you should.

Hearing Marfa reminded me of the King of The Hill episode where Dale thinks Joseph isn't his son, but instead of the truth, he thinks the boy is half alien. Dale believes the aliens distracted him with the Marfa Lights so they could impregnate his wife lol.

I just realized that Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman) was in No Country for Old Men. Had to have been right around the same time as Breaking Bad was being filmed.
