What's really funny about this to me is that the song was never really lost- it just wasn't obvious how to access it because it seemingly wasn't officially released anywhere outside of being in that movie. And the movie itself has been on Youtube in full with the song for at least 3 years!
I think the lost media community lacks a bit of self awareness in that aspect, a lot of things like this that are labeled "lost" aren't really truly lost, they are in fact available, just incredibly obscure.

Edit: But I suppose whether something is "lost" all depends on perspective. What is lost to one person may be common knowledge to another based on what they already know. I obviously think there is value in digging up cool obscure songs like this regardless of how accurate it is to call them lost or not.
