Wow .. the title and content is quite misleading.
She is programming Jeeves. Wich is basicly a python "extension" or framework (Library) to implement her security features.
It is not a from the ground up new language or anything like that.
It is like a addon ... and it is (for now) just for python. I respect her effort and what they are doing but they try to make it look like the reinvention of the wheel .. but much better - wich it isn't. So .. thats quite annoying... plus the yeah i am a girl and can do stuff ... who cares - seriously. So nothing was really said about what and how she is developing and the product itself... just babbling around the topic but never the topic itself ... meta and domain... give me more meaningless buzzwords please..
And this is supposed to be a MIT Technology REVIEW ... where was the tech reviewes ??? please just stop making these "holy grail" type of videos where you try to sell women as any profession ... just tell us what they did the respect comes by itself.
But I give them one point - hilarious exception handling in their code 0:47 "wow such error:" thats kind of funny
