Good video, Alex. I also live in Orlando and just got back home Saturday from picking up my new M11 at Leica Store Miami! I'm loving it so far. Still debating about the Visoflex 2, and I did watch your video. The only lens I might want it for is my 21 Super Elmar. I ope you still enjoy yours.

Yes I think it’s great a point: best to shoot at 6400 ISO max and then recover by 1-2 stops in post instead of shooting at 12500/25000 ISO.

Really useful video, thanks. After 40 years of Nikon I'm getting my first Leica in the next two weeks - the M11. And since not really done manual focus in any sustained way for 20 years, this will be a real learning curve again. But I'm embracing it and can't wait. The discussion on 60 to 38 was helpful as I felt I might need that, but now I feel better about my options based on how lazy I want to be in post. And didn't really consider LV view, but good to know that feature. Holding off on Visioflex as it may become a crutch for me and want to nail down zone and rangefinder first.

I wonder why, on and on, youtubers link sharpness with MP and not with the lens in front of the sensor. 60MP means nothing if your lens is poor. Not to mention the issue to focus quickly with Summilux lenses wild open. However, the pleasure you have to shoot with any M has nothing in common with other cameras and that's why I love it. And I'll change gladly my M262 for this amazing M11. Thanks for sharing.

nice "review" . the 2 main things I care about a camera is color science and dynamic range and it looks that the m11 has arrived to something pretty special . I you have a colorchecker passport I would love to see a DNG file of it to see the colors ! thanks

I’m running the latest firmware and it still randomly freezes up. I have to switch off and on to fix.

I miss when Colonial Photo carried Leica, having purchased an X1 and an M-E from that store, a minor correction, the sensor is not on 24/7, but rather only when the camera is on.

Great video! Would love to know or maybe have a video on the handgrip and thumb grip. The pricing is quite outrageous, to be honest, on those accessories. Maybe I'll buy a 3d-printer and create a small store for Leica users.

Thank you for mentioning the LV stabilization. I'm a hardcore RF user, but appreciate the utility of the EVF with f1 - 1.4 glass. It is notably impaired by micro-jitters, so the new stabilization is an under-appreciated feature imho.

I believe you can achieve similar ISO performance at 60MP as you can at 36MP when downsizing in post but I don’t think it’s true for dynamic range.

I love you, dude! If you struggle to focus with the rangefinder, you should screw a 1, 4x magnifier lens to the eye piece. It's a great help. Keep on rolling!
