Fished the same golf course as you today after a long (many years) absence. Thanks for the idea. Used the fly rod to catch bluegill, crappie and bass, the biggest being two and a half pounds. Very respectable. One foursome of golfers hit three balls into the water in front of me, but not intentionally. I ribbed them good naturedly and they could not have been nicer. They said I must be pretty brave to let people try to hit golf balls over my head.
