LUMINAR AI - How to Make Your Own Templates (Create a vintage look and batch edit multiple shots)

In this tutorial on the photo editor Luminar AI, I'm going to share with you how you can create your own custom templates that will work universally on pretty much any photo. We're going to work on a soft vintage feel for this template which will work great for wedding photographers and portrait photographers particularly, but there's no reason why you can't apply this to other photography styles - flowers or boudoir for instance.

I discuss: What is a Luminar AI template? How do we create our own? How do we save these templates and reuse them on other photos and how do we batch process by applying the template to multiple photos?

A good tip to remember when creating your own templates in Luminar AI is, don't include in your templates things that are unique to a particular photo. For example, the sun rays tool is fantastic but it only works on photos that already unclude the sun or a distinctive direction from the sun.

Power work flow tip for Lightroom users:
If you're a lightroom user and you want to leverage Luminar's AI or other tools that aren't available in Lightroom, what you can do is export your shots with basic corrections such as exposure and white balance, and then apply this template (or one you've created) to the entire folder for a consistent feel to the wedding day portfolio.

Good to see you can guide the look you want rather than relying on the AI. Great video. Cheers

BIG UPS AT on these tips and tricks! I didn’t know how we would make our own templates and being able to batch process is priceless! #timeismoney I have to say I was hoping you’d swap out that sky at 13:30 ha Curious is there anyway to add ‘swap sky’ step to a custom template? Luv your vids sir!

I'm using Luminar AI 1.5.5. I created a template. How to package the template so I can use on other devices or share with Luminar AI community?

Hi Anthony, maybe you can help me out here. I have L AI also, but in your UI you have those 5 icons on the right side? I have searched everywhere how to have the same UI but cannot find it anywhere. Is it because I am on a Mac?(could be) For me it is distracting to have a lot of clutter on my screen when I am editing. So, do you have any idea? Greetz from The Netherlands...

Thank you for a clear and inspirational tutorial. Could you please explain how Looks from Luminar 4.3 can be imported into LAI? The online Help suggests that the program scans them automatically, but I haven’t seen any such process. (Using Windows ) . Thanks again and I look forward to your upcoming tutorials.
