You will not stand on a bank and think you are safe or be up a tree above water and think that it’s ok. Nor will you ever look at your tinnie the same way again.
A mate who survived over ten years active service shooting and being shot at says that the scariest thing he ever went through was having a huge croc rub itself on the bottom side of their tinnie. He has not ever been fishing again.

I agree, too many people complain about crocodiles and sharks for people being injured or killed by them. But if you swim in their territory or get to close too them well it is those stupid people’s fault for swimming in water that has them, if you ignore the warning signs then well those people have no one to blame but themselves in the end.

Only just seeing this in 2022, but you could get a lot of people served up as croc food with the statement you made about using a different spot every time! Why wouldn't you tie a rope to a bucket and therefore let a bit of plastic get shredded instead of going near the water and getting yourself shredded? No matter how many different places you use, there's a bloody good chance that you wouldn't even see the animal under the water. They haven't been around for this long because of their "human intelligence".
