Soon to be 62 years young next month and want to learn how to do hand stands. Great information. I feel with your tips and coaching I can do this! Awsome job to you both. Your friend From Pittsburgh Pennsylvania .

I love this because the whole point (and the scariest part) is about the fear of falling or breaking your face and neck!

I was practicing handstand, and then fell back and bumped my head. Now I need to get over my fear and continue my training..

I don't know if you thought of this, but it may be possible to go from frog pose (with the yoga blocks in front of us) into a head or handstand. I've never tried it but in Vinyasa yoga, a movement from frog pose into a headstand and then back to frog pose is common. Your use of the blocks is a good prop! I've never seen it before. Thank you!!!!

6:35 I've broken my nose twice. It's not so bad. Trick is to get a good surgeon to put it back together afterwards.

Got frustrated trying to do the frog stand - couldn't even hold it more than a second. The balancing wasn't the issue for me I think I just didn't have the muscles. For anyone having trouble with this try starting with other shoulder and arm exercises. I started doing pike push ups daily and now I can hold the frog stand 5-10 seconds.

Lovely video thanks guys! I have been shying away from doing this precisely for the fear of falling on my spine, but will start working :-)

I hold the frog stand for about two minutes. And if your head hits the floor it is not a big deal. I am scared to kick up but the wall walkup is easy... until my 10 pushup or shoulder tap.
