How to Apply COLOR CORRECTOR (Beginners Must Watch!)

Today we are looking at color correctors, what each color does and when to use them. I'm also going to show you two methods to apply color corrector depending on your makeup style and issue. Whether you are trying to cover dark circles under the eyes, even out pigmentation, hide spots or redness, this tutorial will teach you how to do this for yourself. Yes, please! to entire video on best color correctors. I actually have that Nyx pallette and wondered, what the heck, 🤔 when looking at lavender and yellow. BTW, you and Rose Marie from RMS were fabulous together. I'm 63 and soaking up all the knowledge when it comes to the mountain of makeup I've collected through the years. Currently organizing/purging, so using a lot of micro editing as well. I got some nice "rocks" glasses to sort out lip liners, eye liners, concealers, etc. and placed them on a lazy susan with clear, tall walls. So much easier than picking through the pile and brings me joy when doing my makeup. It's the little things! 😊 Thanks for sharing all the tips and tricks.

What no one ever questions is the formulation of the color correctors. Here we are being so picky about concealers and if they're good for dryer skin or oily skin and if they're long lasting, but when it comes to color correctors, we're only checking the color.

I just bought two color correctors lol! The Nyx palette green one literally saved my life a few times an uninvited, red and angry guest appeared on my chin...even if I am not that good with makeup I managed to make it almost invisible, color theory is magic really!

A few days ago, I finally tried a yellow color corrector under my eyes and was AMAZED!! (I had tried all the pinks and peaches, but my dark circles have a strong purple-red component, and it hardly helped at all.) But your tip to wait after applying the color corrector before the concealer was the final touch! Thanks 😊

You skin looks so beautiful in this video with the color correction..including the purple brightening addition. If we didn’t know what u did, people would just think you’ve got that extra special glow. Those xtra steps can really take your look up a notch.

Thank you Gabi! I have the Nyx palette and it's great for me. I have purple between my inner brows and the inner corners of my eyes, and then red under both corners of my eyes, so it does the trick for both. Still working on finding a concealer that doesn't pill and doesn't crease over top of the colour corrector, with my 59yo skin :)

Gabi just received my NYX color corrector palette and the Maybeline Instant Age Rewind shade 160 (“pink”) that you recommended in this video. Wow… just wow. I only had a couple of minutes but didn’t want to wait until later tonight when I would have the time to do it right. Literally only needed no more than two minutes to see that because of you I can stop my all consuming year long search
for the right combination of color corrector/concealer. I don’t wear much makeup and have been able to get away with an all over tinted moisturizer including under my eyes. And I woke up the day after a big birthday and instantly knew that I couldn’t get away with it anymore. So thank you so much, not only do I watch your videos for your expertise but for your humor 😂
