I love these transitions. Doing high reps with really low weight to get better at the movement first as I'm about halfway done fixing my knee pain. Thank you sir 💪🏻💣🇨🇦

MW's remarks about his journey provoked a bit of reflection on the subject. Physical therapy is the intersection of all the medical specialities, insurance economics, professional business pressures, expectations of patients, and the limitations of the training of the particular physical therapist.
For people with complex problems not amenable to well known solutions: frustration.
For any therapy session, you may be dealing with a problem which requires input from a radiologist, orthopedic surgeon, immunologist, rheumatologist, vascular specialist erc etc.. The physical therapist has to work with a patient at the point of functionality, with a multitude of questions which are beyond their training.
Physical therapists do great work, but it can be a lonely quest for the patient trying to recover their best possible condition.
MW's work is an important component. He does not presume to diagnose or prescribe, but provides a prudent, efficient method for high-functioning people to optimize, and for people with difficulties to recover.

Ok Master Shifu! Why I keep coming back to your teaching is this novel training. I tried it and my back and hips love me even more. Thanks, AGAIN!

I Used a 5k free plate weight to start the practice. I hit my self in the patella on both knees. Its a learning curve, dont use a heavy weight. I just spent time practicing my expletives. Damn good exercise that crosses may martial art disciplines. Im going to be doing this well, in a few years..

So a cross body swing adds to longevity. Wow! I never knew that. It's fascinating.

Thanks for this ! I'm nowhere near considered advanced, plus I'm old with bad knees, but you keep sharing plenty of moves I can do.

This guy is so good. A pity he was not my teacher at school when I was trying to learn Calculus.

Same origin story 😂

3 docs told me I’ll never even do push ups again due to my ligament injuries, get a desk job and an easy hoby they said…

Challenge acceped!

That was 10-15y ago.

Still doing athletic feats in my 40s 🎉
