Playing Heather Duke and having to encourage another character to kill themself was certainly an experience

Elizabeth Taylor had to play a character that committed suicide in Cleopatra (1961) and her husband was playing an alcoholic in the same film. IRL she had attempted suicide during production and her husband had substance abuse issues.

yeah as someone in an academy for theatre, i learned that sometimes there are simply characters you cant play, because you know that having to analyze them and feel that character its so bone chilling and can seriously affect you mentally for a while- proud of you for doing that, i hope it didnt hurt you, and u hope your're doing better 🩶🩶👏👏

People are saying that she didn’t have to play as that character. If you’ve been in theater, you’d know that sometimes EVERY student in theater *has* to audition for a play. And when they get their part, they can’t change it.

The thing is… the person who played the lead genuinely got bullied about their weight and was insecure about it

I had to play a character that bullied someone and that someone was the same person who bullies me... I just had to take the glorious chance, the next thing I know all hell went loose and everyone's eyes we're definitely on me alright... 💀
