The only way I see Zoro killing Kaido after Luffy beats him is if Luffy turns his back, Kaido turns into a dragon to stretch out and make one final attack on Luffy and Zoro rushes through and beheads a 'real' dragon.

At 5:00 you mention that Zoro has never expressed wanting to kill Kaido. but in chapter 997 page 12 Zoro does exactly this by saying he came down to cut down Kaido.

Edit: But seriously tho, the only real argument I have for Zoro beating Kaido (or Big Mom, since it would be the same thing) is so Big News could spin it that "EVEN STRAW HAT'S COMMANDERS CAN BEAT ONE OF THE EMPERORS!" But that's obviously not a reason to do it.

Now, if it's somehow misunderstood that Zoro killed/beat Kaido, that's another thing.
