As 'The Lego Movie' hits the big screen, we visit the 82-year-old firm's Danish HQ to hear how dreams are made, and made again.

From wooden block to MiT-inspired robots, Lego has come a long way since its humble beginnings in Billund, Denmark in 1934.

Now, the second biggest toy company in the world, whose most recent annual profits were £2,549 million, Lego is based in a series of unassuming buildings in the town.

To mark the release of the first Lego film, The Lego Movie, which is out next week, the Telegraph got a tour of the factory, and a brief rundown of the seven ages of the world's favourite toy building block.
