The 1990s saw some incredible talent enter Formula 1. And some that carried over from the 1980s. But of all the talent that partook in this decade, which of them did it the best?

"Was signed onto Williams" mentioned so many times in this video
They could only sign so many great drivers in the 90s

Alesi suffered from the leclerc effect. Pushes so hard that he gets every bit of performance and more from the car but when something goes wrong, it goes very wrong

Of Senna, I would say a few moments DEFINED the man:
Outqualifying the great Alain Prost by 1.5 secs in Monaco.
5th to 1st within a lap of a wet Donington.
Taking out Prost at Suzuka to win the title.
Uttering those famous words: "If you no longer go for a gap..."
Stopping on track and running across it in the face of cars going at nearly full speed to turn off Comas' engine and save his life.
Having an Austrian flag inside his car which he would supposedly wave at the end of the session in the memory of Ratzenberger, if not for his own death, at Imola...

I think the years Schumi didn’t win a title is where his talent shines best, the amount of incredible drives he managed to do in 96, 97, and 98 was just insane

For me Jean Alesi, he was an awesome driver the way he leans his head while cornering is so badass it's like riding a motorcycle or even like piloting an aircraft he was insane.

Who else believes the 90’s had the best line-ups ever. And it led to even more fun in the early 2000’s.

My favourite driver ever is Mika, to scare Schumacher is like Bottas winning a title, next to impossible

Josh: don’t be a manus
Everybody in the comments: * proceeds to be a manus *

Josh, an idea for a video.
"The worst driver moves (i.e. in between teams) in F1 history."

Hill-Arrows made me think of that.

I would say Schumi is not only the No.1 driver of the 90s, but also of the 2000s.

Touting him as the absolute GOAT often leads to controversy these days, but I hope the above opinion won't be unpopular.

My top 10 solely consists of angles you can measure in Coulthard's jawline

Ok, I think it needs to be said... those transitions/segues between drivers were impeccable. Fantastic stuff as always Josh, definitely worth watching :)

Haven’t started the video yet but man am I excited. Schumi and Hakkinen are two of my all time favorite drivers and always made me so happy about how great they were as friends and rivals as all sport should be. Sport is for fun even at the highest level

Poor Jean whenever leading something went down. One of the last romantics, he even refused to run TC in early 2000.

I'm not opposed to this list at all, just think Rubens Barrichelo or the man, the myth, the legend Roberto Moreno deserved an honorable mention.

Solid top 10 list! I don’t think I would have changed much.

The 90s had some of my favourite backmarker drivers ever. Katayama, Salo, Jos Verstappen (because lets face it, he was), Diniz, Tosser and more. Great times. Loved the Minardi team in particular.
