I just bought my 09 W204 on Saturday, I watched this video before I got her.
I’d say I disagree with everything you’ve said, the car is awesome, so happy

I liked your other video, but this was terrible. You neglect to mention that you have almost 200, 000 miles in this car. 200, 000 miles!! I'm sure you need new shocks. And what do you expect in terms of squeaks and rattles from 10 years and over 300, 000km!? Also, there is nothing "sporty" at all about the C220 CDI... you mentioned "amg" in the video. It's as far from an AMG as a turtle is from a rabbit. Don't be misled by a marketing package called "sport". Seems like this is a great car for what it is: a light luxury economy sedan.

When you drive all different luxury cars in the world and yes bmw, audi, Cadillac, lexus, etc etc you feel better than other motorists. When you drive a mercedes even an ordinary one you realise it's a car with it's own class. Beautiful. Never in a rush, serene, a car made for every budget.

I had the change to drive a C 200 Kompressor Avantgarde W204 for about 2 weeks, I think it was was the facelift model.
It drove superb around town, quiet and well built. It did not have the AMG sport package but I felt it pretty sporty around corners and when accelerating from a stop light
Don't compare this beautiful sedan with a sport car.
I really enjoyed the interior.

it sounds as if your car has had a really hard life. I have one with lower milage and has no problems

I had one of these a 2008 model and it was great then and lasted me 8 years before I upgraded to the new C class, you go and drive a 10 year old Ford and then do a comparison. In my opinion they make the best cars.

If you have a Family, buy an E-Class, E-Class T or S-Class.
If you want a sporty car, why are you driving a diesel in the first place?

As C class and standard sporty sedan is great actually in my eyes. Compared to Audi A4 and BMW 3 series, C class is better overall :)

i`ve had my 2009 mercedes c220 CDI for 3 years, and i love it. i got that same problem with the notification that you have, turns out that it was a short circuit in the rear left light, after changing that everything is just fine

I think your of the mark with your criticism. I’ve had 220CDI for14 years. Never missed a beat.

The AMG Sport Package consists of AMG wheels, NO suspension modification. I am a dealer and have briefly owned about 60 W204 of various year and engines. I consider them to be the absolute best car on the road. None of my cars have had the problems your car has. One did have a broken headrest though, another car squeaked due to worn out control arms., and another leaked oil due to a small crack in a plastic oil line. The other 57 or so cars had no problems except for maintenance items which is expected. I love this car so much I bought a C350 to keep for myself. A year later I bought a C250 for my girlfriend who always wanted to drive mine. Neither cars have had any non maintenance issues to date, and I drive the hell out of my C350. It is still tight and doesn't slip even with 145k miles on it. The overall quality of the car and all materials used is truly outstanding. Car and Driver and Edmonds in the USA gave the W204 a 5 star rating each year.

Really enjoyed for the video, I was just given a 57 plate c180 Kompressor sport with 21, 000 miles and just got it back from the Mercedes dealer as it went in for a service. Drives like new, smooth and quiet currently, hope it stays that way for a long time but at least know what to expect in the future. Thank you.

The choice is I suppose if you did not want to pay out you could have brought a low milage well loved Mercedes rather than high milage run down one where previous owner did not do very much maintenance, or accept your situation and fix all the outstanding maintenance and replace shocks sway bar links, suspension arms etc. My 2008 C200K AMG sport is great, very tight on the road no rattles and a pleasure to own and drove.

my 10 year old c class drives better then 2018 cars please give me a break, go drive anything thats 10 years old and it will feel like garbage compared to a c class. Even the new w205 c class doesnt really ride much better, they jsut made it bigger, obviously rides better because it has newer not 10 year old suspension parts.

Also the sport suspension is actually much much stiffer and actually ruff riding for most people, you drive a base or comfort model in comparison and they are much less stiffer.
