That M155 portable monitor would be perfect for an in-car setup. Dude, just thinking about a 15" screen in my car makes me giggle like a freaking child.

Vanguard: 19 inch 1080p, 0 lag output, 2 outlets: 1 for console 1 for monitor.
MI55: 15.5 inch 720p, 0 lag output, USB power source.

I have the vanguard, and what really caught my attention is the Mi55's USB power source. They'd make the vanguard better if it ran through the system.

So it's "portable-ish". Yes it's a great solution to move your gear around in, no extra fuss, everything you need is there. But you can't use it everywhere, say at a park or something, so you're always tethered down, not that you would really use it at a park, and it's not a big deal considering there's a power point almost everywhere you'd want to use it, but it's still something worth noting imo. I don't think they should market it as being a "portable" solution, calling it an "all-in-one"/"no hassle" solution would be better.

The TV in my room is used exclusively for games, so the portable display would be a nice replacement to a heavy LED screen.
Looking forward to it, I hope price is not so high considering it's just a TV without tuner or any other artifacts beyond screen and speakers.

That monitor would be great for FPV flying if it had AV inputs and didn't blue-screen on no input signal.

That Portable Gaming Monitor would make a good 2nd monitor for someone always on the go as a 2nd monitor for a laptop.

Hmm, The Vanguard actually looks perfect for an application I've been exploring (Not console related). Though it would be nice to know what power that screen takes (I'm not talking about the 100-240v power but the DC input of the screen is). Though I would have to modify the case just a little.

Really interested in the monitor for using in a video rig. A 720p 15" monitor at that cheap price seems perfect. Plus, it's USB powered, making it great for an external battery. Could you maybe test it for that purpose? That would be great :)

I know that I've got an imported Thai portable monitor that can be powered by usb or a power outlet, but it has a battery in it, which is both a pro and a con.
Pro being that if it gets unplugged there are no worries, and it has a few hours of battery life, which is a nice plus, but the downside being a bit of extra weight.
Also has some decent built in speakers, which is nice for if you don't want to use headphones.
Con, of course, being that it weight a bit more because of the battery.
It would be cool to have a case designed specifically to house my consoles and screen though, even if I couldn't possibly justify buying a brand new one anytime soon, since my portable monitor is pretty new.
Nice to know that portable monitors may start to spread into more countries though, since importing is a bitch.
