How does the software on the Xbox One stack up to the PS4?

For episode 4 of my PS4 vs Xbox One console comparison I take a look at the software including the New Xbox One Experience, Xbox 360 backwards compatibility on the Xbox One with gameplay from Fallout 3, media features such as Bluray, DVD and CD support along with streaming video from Netflix, YouTube, Twitch and playing back local USB media, Kinect vs PlayStation Camera, the PS2 emulator for the PlayStation 4, Remote Play for the PS Vita along with streaming Xbox One games to a Windows 10 PC and PSN vs Xbox Live.

My Opinion. no hate.

Xbox One : Better for FPS games, slightly faster cpu for multitasking, great airflow

PS4 : Better for 3rd Person games, alittle better gpu, and good airflow.

but seriously, I really hate when people say OMG Xbox One is trash with its 900p and 720p. do people forget that PS4 Is 900p for AC and Battlefront? I own both consoles and love both, but I perfer Xbox alittle better cause its alittle more stable and I like the controller (for fps, cause thats what I mainly play)

What you forgot:

-PS4 DLNA, allows you to stream content from you PCs or NAS to your PS4

-PS4 SHAREfactory, allows you to edit you videos on the PS4 and then upload
-You can listen to music while gaming on the PS4

-You can put your PS4 in sleepmode and when you turn it on you continue the game where you left it instantly.

-PS4 Shareplay, play local games with friends even tho they dont own the game

-Recording, streaming and uploading

-PS4 has easy ways to get to know and play with new people

-Plugging your satellite box through the X1 is useless, it will have you turn on another system when you want to watch TV.

Easy win for the PS4. But I guess its easy for you to give it to the X1 when you leave big important things out.

The Xbones software is really nice. still. The ability to stream and/or upload directly to YouTube on The ps4 is a must for me and it really baffels me that you failed to mention that as you are a YouTuber.

Share play is also a killer feature of The PS4.
