For most of history only landowners could vote.

I believe at first only men who owned land could vote. Not all men. If I remember correctly 😅

The day a woman was allow in the political arena, America started its demise

Politics used to be rough, dangerous and deadly, so it was only accessible to men.
But overtime men fixed things up and politics became civilized and then women came after the shit was fixed and asked why they weren’t part of it already.
And that goes for almost all jobs and function in society now a day.

Women should not be allowed to vote on issues that could lead us into war when they themselves will not be the ones fighting 😢

Giving voting rights to all men was nearly as stupid as giving women the vote.

for anyone interested the length of time between all men getting the right to vote and then women getting the right to vote is 7 years

In Canada property owning white women could vote in 1918. It wasn't until 1920 that non property owning working class men AND women could vote. Yeah.. let's talk about the "patriarchy" 🙄

Voting is a new concept that America started. That's why we call it the great experiment.

All people should be given the option to serve. Giving up that right would also be giving up the right to vote

Mind you, royalty and monarchy and such, there really wasn't much of an electoral system there.

Also, remember the voting age was 21 and the conscription age was 18 for men. i.e Vietnam war, Korean war, WW1 and WW2.

I still believe if you don’t have to register for selective service you shouldn’t be allowed to vote, if you really think men and women are so equal why do I have to go fight wars but you don’t?

Not sure about this. I don't see the connection between getting the vote and conscription. You could argue its due to industrialisation, or the mass education.
It generally in history was ownership of land, when did the vote get divorced from land ownership?
