PRO Tips for EASY Premium Deliveries (Unlock 'Growth of a Legend)' | Death Stranding Trophy Guide

There are two trophies that share the same goal in Death Stranding, Birth of a Legend and Growth of a Legend. Both of them require you to complete premium deliveries with an evaluation of Legend of Legends in all categories., and here I am going to share some tips on what does this trophy requires, how can you track your progress and some tips for you to grind more effectively.

First of all, what is a Legend of Legends premium delivery? Premium deliveries are exactly the same as a normal delivery, but the evaluation criteria for those is a lot more severe. Achieving a perfect or almost perfect score will grant you with an S-Tier Rating called Legend of Legends.
There are 4 different categories: condition, Quantity, Miscellaneous and time focused orders.

To achieve legend of legends in any of these categories you need to do all of the following: Your package must have less than 3% damage, no partial deliveries, and deliver it within a record-breaking speed, usually 1/5 or 1/4 of the actual time limit that is shown on the screen.
You need to do at least 80 premium deliveries in total to unlock both trophies. To track how many premium deliveries you have completed in each of these categories without losing your mind, just open your menu, go to the left side menu, scroll down to Bridge Links, select your ID (should be at the very top), press R1 three times to get to the orders tab and scroll down until you see the list of deliveries.

The two most essential structures that will help you achieve this consistently are roads and ziplines. Roads are a pain in the derriere to rebuild but they usually pay off pretty well, letting you avoid BT and enemy areas that you can travel via truck or bike with ease. BTW, did you know you can boost on any vehicle by pressing L3 as when you run?
Ziplines are better than roads but they can really suck all the chiral network bandwidth, so you need to always plan ahead and do a great job positioning each one of them so you can use them to get to as many places as you possibly can. Try to place them always in the highest point of the terrain but always keep in mind that you need to have a decent landing zone in order to avoid falling, so, just in case, every time you descend from a zipline, remember to hold R2 and L2, to assure you have the best possible balance and grip.
While you are planning your zipline route, take into consideration that there is a 300 m limit between each zipline, that, unless, you upgrade them to lv 2 which upgrades that to around 350 m. A great delivery path for a legend of legends should make the most efficient combination of vehicles, roads, ziplines and private lockers.
Yes, private lockers, ladies and gents, are one of the best-kept secrets in death stranding. Did you know that you can put any ongoing premium delivery in any private locker, either a postbox, a UCA facility or a prepper shelter and leave it there while you go on doing other deliveries? If you try to leave your cargo in the wild or any of your vehicles it will start screaming and whining until you pick it back, and if you go very far from it you will lose it and it will be available for delivery to another porter.

The best tools for your job are going to depend on your destination, but once all delivery path is set, you can always rely on the floating carrier, the power skeleton, and the Long Range Truck. The Floating Carrier is fabulous because it is not only the best tool to carry a lot of materials from enemy camps to use on your roads but a great way to keep your orders intact and with virtually no damage. You can upgrade it to lvl 2 by reaching lv 3 with the Weather Station. The power skeleton will let you carry more and this will allow you to do more than one premium delivery at a time. You can get the Power Skeleton up to lv 3 by reaching 4 stars in connection level with the Engineer. Finally, my favorite, the Long Range: this baby has a massive load capacity, great battery life, and the suspension of the vehicle protects cargo so well that even when it gets a hit you can still make a premium delivery because it will absorb a lot of damage. You unlock the lv 1 reaching 3 stars with the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City, lv 2 version by reaching 4 stars and lv 3 by reaching max connection level.

My final advice is to start doing your premium deliveries in the eastern section of the map.
And that's basically all that I can recommend for getting consistent Legend of Legends premium deliveries so you can unlock the trophies in Death Stranding. Just be careful, don't rush if you don't have too, grab a beer and put some music on. Hope this has been useful thank you for watching and keep enjoying the game.

Out of all the others describing how to get this trophy - you’re the clearest one. I finally got the Platinum thanks to you 👍🏽

Dude, please make more videos. Your voice and video editing are both amazing!

I think the thing that sucks the most is when you've played the game for so long that all the stuff you planted and other players planted have started deteriorating to a point where you can't use them and you have to spend the time repairing/upgrading them.

I found that having a good interconnected zip-line system is the key to finishing the deliveries in record time. Also having a zip-line terminus as close as possible to the deliver terminal cuts down on battery usage

It's worth noting that each type of order has a specific symbol. So familiarise yourself with the symbols & corresponding order type, and check your Bridge Links stats to see how many of each you need.

But even when you have 20 in a order type, it's always worth doing an order if you are going to, or past a location. Can always use more materials for building roads, upgrading/repairing structures etc. Or simply getting them to 5*, for more Chiral network points and the various rewards (eg. backpack cover).

Any trophy guide I consulted, always brushed over a lot of info regarding the categories, so I'm thankful you have made this video!

Admittedly I did figure a lot of this stuff about before viewing the video, however some of your tips will be invaluable for me going forward - for example, I did not know the truck could boost! That's going to finally get me that S ranking for Standard Order 228, Timefall Farm to Lake Knot!

You can switch back to a easier difficulty to go and place zip lines ect then go back to very hard to get that trophy.

Nice tips, I did as you said, all of the eastern map first, got more than 20 quality and 20 cargo condition Legend of Legends, about 11 time LoL and 4 miscellaneous LoL, so it'll be easier to complete the rest of them in central region.

I restarted DS a month ago, finished it and now i go 4 Platinum. It really makes fun competing for it. And it really is time consuming

Damn, what a grind! I spent weeks in the central region maxing everyone out, which I finally got done ✅. Roads in the central region have been rebuilt, the whole central region with roads is done ✅. And I have a massive zip line structure through the central region. I went back to the eastern region and just got another zip line system done ✅, and maxed out all facilities in the eastern region. I have to finish the Musician and the eastern region is done. I’ve been doing a ton of premium deliveries throughout this play through on the Directors Cut. Thank goodness for floating carriers! I have 5 bits for deliveries. So that’s also nice. Almost done with the premium deliveries on hard mode this time around. It’s been a bloody grind! I still have to set up the chiral relay with Heartman before I head to the western region.
