Even now, as a 27 year old I struggle to add large numbers in my head. This video is very helpful to me and I think this video is very useful if you don't know how to add or subtract or if you can add and subtract but cannot do it in your head efficiently. Please don't delete this video as its very handy and very informative and keeping the video on YouTube would be beneficial for anyone and everyone.

Great work. 👍🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👍👍

Been teaching my 8 yo granddaughter this. She's in the third grade but tests in the 94 percentile at a 5th+ grade level. This should be taught everywhere.

My 4 year old loves these videos, math fascinates him. He is only in kindergarten but is a few years ahead of his peers when it comes to math and looks forward to school. I just hope his future teachers will be just as great and informative. They way Arthur Benjamin makes math easy and interesting is a skill in itself.

He´s so good at explaining these concepts. Even though I knew these concepts from other videos already, I enjoyed every second of it. Wish I had math teachers that could have taught me that when I was younger, its a game changer and makes doing math fun

I am studying chemical engineering and I am here because I am not a native English speaker and I want to move to Ireland.
It seems simple, even strange, "why is an engineering student here? I shouldn't know this". I know, I know very well, but getting used to math and calculus in English can help me when I go to Ireland.

a min and 30 seconds in and I already learned something, jeezes. The way he said "it'll be 60...something." new way of looking at it, one step at time instead of all at once.

My advice for none native English speakers, you might want to do these mental calculations in your original language.. you're mind will put the energy of translation towards calculation therefore faster processing
